Professional Qualifications

All counsellors employed by, or affiliated to 50 Minutes have been trained to at least diploma level and receive regular practice supervision.

Counsellors are all members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), bound by its ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy. We are also subject to the professional conduct procedure of the organisation.

Approach of the organisation

The counselling approach at 50 Minutes is non directive and client led. It is non judgemental, and offers genuine regard for all clients.

Everybody is welcome equally, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, class or culture.

The approach is not analytic, but rather, assumes that you know best what is right for you.
